  2. Babies babbling is very important to the development of their learning process. They are always learning somehing new everyday, so babbling, or their way of talking, is very important. In the article it said that if babies are not babbling as much as they are really supposed too then there may be something wrong. It could be that they cant hear whats going on in the home, or even just issues that are going on in the home. Babies are smarter than we all think, so its completely normal for them to want to talk and communicate with us in the best way that they know. It was said in the article, that when babies get to be around one year old they end up putting words together and they start understanding them more. The world babbling comes from the old Tower of Babel. It was some sort of language they used to speak, now babies are doing this. Babies that dont talk usually have a problem or the family may not be talking to the babies as much as they really should. A lack of communication in the home may make it take longer for the child to understand words or be able to comprehend anything that you are talking about. This is really dangerous to their learning process.

  3. I think putting close attention to everything a baby does is very important and vital. I think the babble of a baby is important to its development on the long run of his/her life because I think that if a baby as a baby is active with those little things as babbling or making sounds he/she would be as active when they grow up. I agree with the article when it states that if a baby is not babbling normally than there is something wrong either with his brain or with his parents. I think that the baby’s brain is like a sponge that absorbs everything they listening or seeing, is important that at home parents give their kids enough talking in order for the baby’s brain to start developing. This article made me remember what my dad told me once when I was taking care of my little cousin; he said to talk to him with real, complete words, phrases and sentences instead of shortening the words for him. He said this would make him develop his vocabulary better as he grew.

  4. This article tells all about how babies formulate sounds that will later help them out in life. Babbling is very important when it comes to the development of the childs talking. This sound is a good sign that babies are trying to learn certain words. If a child is not babbling that could be a very bad sign in brain development or several other problems. Also it helps parents as well as parents help them. Parents can now tell what they want, instead of them crying and getting what they want. The baby is helped because most times the parents says the name of the thing in which they want. The child is now learning communication.

  5. I agree with the article that baby babble is the start of talking. When my sister was born my mom told me that when she is playing with her toys you pick it up and give it a name just to let her hear the words. Also she told me not to talk to her in baby talk because she will come out pronoucing the words that I am saying. One of the funniest stories my parents had told me about baby talk was when I was little. My father is from DC and so he has a little bit of an accent and my mother told him he wasnt allowed to talk to me as a baby. She was afriad I would come out speaking the same way. I agree it is important to make sure the baby is talking or making babble by the first five months. I also heard that a good way to do this is let the baby cry when it is a newborn. If the baby is not wet, hungry, or hurt just let them cry. It helps exercise their vocal cords and mouth. Your are especially suppose to do this when the baby is newborn.

  6. Babies developmental stages are very important to teach them things they need to know. For instance, the baby babbling is important because it shows that they are developing properly. Parents can help increase the development by talking to the babies, aiding them in learning. This article made me realize why some babies identify certain things as others. For example, in the article, the baby looked at the apple and said "ba ba" and the parent should say "apple" and show the infant what a ba ba is, not to grab a bottle and assume that that is what was meant. This makes sense because a baby will identify objects by the way the parents respond to it. Alot of people are instructed to talk to babies using the correct words and not to talk "baby talk" back to them which confuses their speech development.
